First of all, go light with that pencil. It’ll save a stack of rubbing out and a messy work area.
Keep it simple, start with basic shapes.
Choosing something of interest to draw, so if you like animals, cats and dogs are good shape characters.
The eyes have it! We are all drawn to eyes so spend some time trying out lots of different expressions eyes tell a tale.
