WALKERS CRISPS CARTOON IDEAS FOR DO US A FLAVOUR COMPETITION


	Walkers Crisps 'Do us a flavour' competition was a massive consumer interactive promotional campaign in the UK to find the next flavour in their range. Top prize £50K + percentage of profits so it was a great opportunity for all. My ideas were not chosen as competition winners on this occassion (AAAGGHHHH!!!) but I was pleased with the ideas I submitted and wanted to place them on my site so visitors and clients can see the initial rough stage. For me the ideas stage is the most enjoyable and it certainly is the most important as it sets the creative path for the direction of the whole job. Hope you like them, Cheers Chris.


	Lewis Hamilton Forumal One driver was my inspiration for this combination - Lewis Ham and Stilton with the strap line 'Watch the Mango Chutney', a play on watch the man go!.

Forumal One commentator Murray Walker was another inspiration. A play on Walker and Walkers names plus Murray with his headphones and microphone, I could see him as a cartoon character or real life, driving around the country spreading the news of his very popular range of 'Murray's Curry's. Each flavour could then be fronted by a new character, all creating a family that consumers can relate too.



	A healthy crisp option - 'Hill Walkers', crisps with that extra CRUNCH CRUNCH CRUNCH CRUNCH tag line. Flavour could be Beef and Bunion.


		Cheese and Honeyon flavour is a combination of honey and onions on cheese. Friendly busy bee character with the slogan - 'crisps for busy bees!' to reinforce these are the ideal quick snack for people on the go.



		Gordon's Odours would be a range of strong cheesy feet flavours and each flavour would be illustrated with different coloured feet and bag.


			Mounth shaped crisps - Walkers Talkers, could have a selection of different expressions for consumers to have fun with, so creating the 'Chat and snack crisps'.


A friendly punky spikey hedgehog promotes Prickle Onion flavour. The only crisps that come with a health warning - 'These crisps will prickle, NOT tickle your taste buds!'.


	Walkers Crisps lovers everywhere could devour these heart shaped 'BeefSnoganoff' flavour crisps whenever they fancy.


	Cheesy Quackers would be promoted with consumers turning Quackers after one bite resulting in a crazy duck dance.
